Final putt End result cannot be changed to 'in hole'

I have FENIX 6X pro solar and Garmin Golf on iOS and CT10 sensors.

I often need to add a final putt that is missed by the sensors in real time.

On the course I (on the watch) increase the suggested score from (for example) 4 to 5 - and the number of puts from 1 to 2.

Later on the Garmin Golf app, the score and the number of putts is correct, but the shot maps do not show a shot.for the final putt

I edit the pin position and the position of the recorded first put. Then I add a shot - the second put. The problem is that I cannot make this have ' in the hole' as the final result.

I can select this in the menu for end result in shot editing - but - it just very rarely gets saved.

Am I missing something ?

Tee shots location 'Rough' instead of 'Tee Box'

After yesterday's round I noticed that almost all my shots from the tee box were registered with Lie Type 'Rough'. This results in incorrect stats :(

It looks like this was because the tee boxes are very small and do not represent the real size of the tee boxes (as can be see in the birdiebook and on Google Maps). Quite a hassle to change this manually to 'Tee box' or change the location to the tee box, which then automatically changes the Lie Type to 'Tee Box'.

Do other people also experience this? I.e. are there more courses that have tiny teeboxes in the Garmin app that are not in-line with the real size?

A few solutions I could think off besides the courses/Garmin having to re-do the maps.

1. Every first shot of the hole = Tee Shot

2. Make it easier to change the shot types (e.g. overview page of the course with drop-downs)

3. .... I'm pretty sure there are other smart ways to solve this

Editing Shots post round with CT10 tags

I'm considering adding CT10 tags back, as Garmin released an update in May that allows post-round editing of putts and pin location.

I wanted to ask, if I edit a pin location or a shot that was caught by the CT10 tag, would that change be reflected in the performance stats? Previously, edits made to shots picked up by the CT10 tag didn't change the performance stats. As an example, if I made a putt off the green it would really be a chip, but Garmin may pick it up as a putt, skewing my putting stats. If I moved that shot onto the green, would the performance stats correctly reflect that change?

I'm hoping for a clear answer from Garmin on this, or if someone can point me to something Garmin has already confirmed on this, that would be great.

I don't mind editing my rounds after they're complete. However, given the variability of GPS, it's important to be able to amend shots post-round and have the performance stats reflect the changes made to shots that are already recorded by the CT10 tags. I understand that Garmin doesn't want shots that are manually added without tags to count towards performance stats, so this question is solely focused on shots already picked up by the tags.

Handicap setting not syncing

I have set my WHS handicap in my S50. Scoring Method -> stroke play, Handicap Scoring -> Index/Slope, Set Handicap->12.5 all as per the user manual. The Garmin Golf app still shows the Garmin calculated index under 'Performance Stats'. Suggestions?

Incomplete hole

I hit a bit of a wild one resulting in a lost ball. Instead of going back to the tee we carry on and I post no score. The app, despite me editing the shot to show the end result as 'lost ball', the shot map shows a 440 yard drive to the center of the green! It won't let me delete the shot. Suggestions?

Exclude a shot from stats without deleting it.

If I chip out from under a tree how do I prevent that shot being used in the club distance calculation? I don't want to delete it because it would affect the shot that put the ball behind the tree in the first place.

Garmin Venu SQ 2, golf activity didn't saved into history nor syncing with the app, help !!!

Hi guys i found really unique problem this year, since i've been using my venu sq2 for golfing from january 2025 without any problem, but starting in early 2026 few golf activity stop being saved into my phone, i thought it was connection problem or an app problem, i tried to reconnect the bluetooth, reinstall the app, hard reset the watch, sometimes it fixed the problem sometimes not, but it stop to record completely in middle of may, i found some unusuall things that might be a sign or cause of this bug, from the activity didn't recorded to on board history, and the app show red exclamation mark.

aerial map failed to load

i'm having this issue. black screen on historic shot maps. it only happens with one course i play. i am able to see the aerial footage on the website. it only fails on my iphone.

is there a fix? i tried deleting the app many times

Recent Update to App and/or S42 Watch Terrible

There appears to have been an update to either Garmin Golf iOS or my watch software (Garmin S42 with C10 sensors) that is making the stats useless. 3 problems observed:

1. The green location on the watch and the app don't match so it is constantly wrong re whether you are putting from on or off the green.

2. When you enter correct number of putts on the watch and/or the scorecard they sync with each other but the shot maps do not update to the correct # of putts. It seems this would make most of the stats wrong.

3. There has always been a modest discrepancy (1-3 strokes) between my GHIN index and Garmin's estimate (I suspect because Garmin uses men's course ratings regardless of user's gender, as I previously reported), but now it is off by about 25 strokes. I suspect (as I previously reported as a course error) that Garmin is using an 18-hole rating for a 9-hole course I play regularly so it thinks I am playing 30 under par (nice!). My GHIN is 14 but Garmin thinks I am a +10. Interestingly now that it thinks I am better than a pro golfer, my shots gained results vs my new peers (pros!) has also dramatically improved! Nice!! But useless.

These values were officially changed as of January 1, 2026, but they are still not updated in Garmin Golf, which means that statistics and scoring are currently based on outdated data.

This creates unnecessary inaccuracies when tracking performance and comparing rounds.

Add date range filter for course statistics

I really like the course statistics feature in Garmin Golf – it provides valuable insights into performance over time.

However, one important improvement would be the ability to filter statistics by a custom date range.

Right now, statistics are shown based on all recorded rounds, which is not always relevant. For example, it would be much more useful to:

View performance from the last 3 months
Analyze trends over the past 12 months
Focus on more recent rounds to track improvement

This would give a more accurate and actionable view of current performance, rather than mixing old and new data.

Suggested improvement: Add a simple date filter option (e.g. last 3 / 6 / 12 months or custom range) in the statistics section.

This small change would significantly improve usability and make the feature much more relevant for players who actively work on improving their game.

Improve course/round/progress insights and (at least) keep up with competitors

I recently ran into https://shotroom.app/ which syncs Garmin course data and translates it into valuable insights (scorecard/round, shots gained/lost, training practice suggestions), something that is available via many other players (e.g. 18Birdies, The Grint, GolfShot, ShotScope, GolfPad, Hole19) in combination with devices (Phone, Watch, Sensors).

Why Garmin is not investing in this area? This would definitely help hardware sales (watches, CT10/CT1 sensors, golf premium memberships) and prevent people from moving into other devices, apps, ecosystems. So both a win and loss-prevention

Garmin has all the data, the userbase and is releasing new products (watches, sensors, range finders) but no / very limited priority to the UX/ecosystem.

Also, no feedback in the forums on roadmap/future releases and locking suggestions from users (e.g. Features Needed For Garmin Golf to Keep up with Competitors). I think that if they would ask the current user base to come up with ideas they'd be able to create a solid plan and backlog and use the improved features to lure new potential hardware buyers and keep existing users from moving to other hardware/apps.

Happy to hear other users and Garmin's thoughts on this!

Garmin golf tee box problem

Just to let you know that it’s impossible to change the “lie” to tee box unless you are inside the small square already defined.

However, these are not yet perfect, because at my club the tee boxes for the yellow, white, and blue tees are all on the same starting area but at different spots. Almost every round, my drives are recorded as starting from the “rough” when they are not actually, and the app won’t let me change it unless I’m inside the small square that Garmin has determined.

When you switch the view to satellite, you can easily see the full length of the tee box.

Would it be possible to simply allow free selection of the tee box?

Golf Activity Retroactive Upload to Strava

I had my Fenix 7 golf activity set to "off" on record activity in the settings, and lost a few rounds. I turned it on now, and hopefully it will record an activity to Strava.

Can I retroactively upload those two rounds when it was set to 'off' to my Garmin connect app or Strava?

Shot Maps post-round graphics incomplete.

I'm new to Garmin, using the Approach S70 watch and iPhone Garmin Golf App v3.8.0.1. After my last round on 3.17.26, 'View Shot Maps' was incomplete. Holes 1 through 9 showed the hole graphic and shots with distances. Holes 10-17 showed only the hole maps, no data. 18 was OK. The scorecard data is provided and complete. I had read here that deleting the app and re-installing might help. I did that, along with the Garmin Connect App, just in case. No Joy. The Course Stats show my 'Longest Drive' as 223 yds on Hole 18, while in Shot Maps, Hole 3 shows my drive of 260 yds.

What's going on, and what's the fix? If I can't trust the data I'm paying for, what reason do I have to keep the watch AND CT10 Sensors?

Also, a housekeeping improvement: In Shop Maps, could Garmin please keep the hole score from moving around and blocking the Advance/Return arrows? It's frustrating, like swatting flies!

P.S. I've used and returned both Shot Scope and Arccos devices and sensors. They were too 'busy' to use and had incomplete data.

Feature Request - Integration with EZLocator

Our course and a growing number of courses use EZLocator for the superintendent staff to use in order to plan out their daily pin placements and provide that data to members. Today they provide printed out pin sheets as well as an app that you can download onto an Apple phone. EZLocator also have integration with Club Car golf carts where you can see the pin location on the GPS screen on the cart that shows not only front/middle/back but also the distance to today's pin.

Request would be for Garmin to integrate with that data and expose it onto the relevant current and future watches/devices for both live play as well as post round data analysis for approach stats, putting distances, etc. Seems like the data is there and you should be able to consume it. Right now you need to eyeball it and move the flag along the green display prior to stepping on the putting surface and that is ripe for improvement.

I‘m using the S42 and recently added 3 CT10 sensors. For my last rounds now no stats are showing for the round, even though it is activated on the watch. Not even puts or the strokes are added.

What can be done?

new owner of the G82, so far, its amazing. i am a subscriber to get the heat maps.when im home, and start a round and select tee box Black, i get the distances just fine, but when i cancel the round and select the forward tee box, the numbers dont change.

do i have to be at the course for the tee box selection numbers update automatically based on what tee box you selected on the g82?
