Months of Silence on Detailed Course Update Request – This is Unacceptable

Several months ago, I submitted a very detailed request to update the course where I regularly play, including specific changes to slopes, tees, and hole handicaps. To this day, I have received zero response from Garmin.

For comparison, I submitted the exact same update request to The Grint, and the course was fully updated within one week.

This level of delay is unjustifiable. Garmin sells a premium product specifically focused on golf, yet users have no effective way to get basic course information corrected. Even more frustrating is the lack of any self-service tools. We can add hazards manually, but we cannot update critical scorecard data such as:

Course slope
Tee information and slope per tee
Hole handicaps

If the Garmin team is not going to respond to user requests, we should at least be given the ability to make these essential corrections ourselves.

I hope this post reaches the developers. This situation needs to improve.

Green Contours - Slope Percentage vs Elevation Map

Hi there I posted this same question in the Epix Gen 2 Forum and unsure if it should be homed here?

... I have the Garmin Golf Membership and have noticed that when I go to "view green" on the watch I am defaulting to Elevation Maps rather than Slope Percentage (difference here - Understanding Green Contours and Compatible Garmin Golf Products | Garmin Customer Support)

Question:

1. How do I cycle / change between these?

2. Is it possible to default to Elevation Map?

Device: Epix Pro (Gen 2)

Firmware: 26.09

Maps: CourseView Pacific 26.10

Golf App: 3.7.1 (757) - Android

The course(s) which I am playing are listed as having contours

If you are on the "View Green" screen on the watch, you should have three dots at the top of that screen, and you can change between Slope or Elevation.

We can edit putt and pin locations in app finally.

Just download Garmin Golf v3.8.

New feature, I can edit putt and pin location.

Tested. Works great.

So the question is..... What is the point?

This information isn't being used to update the performance stats data. It still says we need a CT10 or CT1 on our clubs.

If that is the case, what data takes precedence in the Golf app stats?

If I have a CT10 on my putter AND edit my pin/putt locations, which data is used for performance stats.

Garmin Golf Performance Stats not working

My golf performance-stats are not showing anymore. This function has worked for approx a year. Watch is Venu 3 and everything syncs just fine. Scorecards are transferred and I can see all the strokes.
As I signed up for the garmin golf subscription the stats went blank. I ahve tried all the recomended solutions, but nothing fixes this issue.

I have seen other post about this, but no solution. Is this still work in progress?

My round stats such as Fairways hit. GIR etc have all disappeared as well ..app is up to date.. round details are recorded but no stats…

My golf performance stats went blank after signing up for the golf subscription. Everything syncs just fine.All scorecards and strokes are registered.
Tried deleting apps and resyncing etc etc. Performance stats still not showing.

I hope Garmin will set some priority on this matter as this function is really nice.

It looks like Performance Stats have some type of back end issue. I have dozens of rounds logged from my watch into the Garmin Golf app, but suddenly last week the performance stats section is blank and tells me to upload a scorecard to get started.

Even if I follow the prompt and manually upload a scorecard, that screen stays exactly the same. Tried all the usual suspects of clearing cash, storage, deleting the app so on and so forth but can't get performance stats to show. Even tried on a couple different devices, I have the app on and it all shows the same thing.

Automatic wrist change when golfing

Would it be possible to change wrist automatically when starting a golf round? I'm a lefty and shots do not register accurately when i'm wearing my watch on my left wrist. So I also change it to my lead wrist (right) when starting a golf round. Problem however is that when doing so the steps counter is not working properly anymore. It will only count 2000 steps over 9 holes when i'm carrying. Buddy who is right-handed counts over 8500 over the same course.

It would be great if you can adjust this by default when golfing. it's easy to forget to adjust before a round and also easy to forget after each round. So please help us lefties out [emoticon:6d505171faa4497c85c5ca27290c555d]

How do i add old scorecards to my app?

I'm trying to add old scorecards to the app so i can keep everything in the same place now that I have a garmin watch capable of scoring and tracking golf shots. I've tried adding historic rounds but you can't change the date of the round?

Hi, i have done this but see that people have been asking for this for about 7 Years ( Garmin Connect: Cannot add old scorecards ) so i'm not that hopeful. I appreciate the need to differentiate between "self-reported" scores and "recorded" scores but even a visual flag next to the scorecard saying it was manually entered could solve it. It's not an official handicap system so ensuring the authenticity of the data is not that important

HI there, Can you give examples (dates/courses/holes) that are not being included in the historic data? When you are viewing the historical shots is "Exclude Scorecard" for the round in question is selected? Can you also provide screenshots of the historical shots not displaying in the Garmin Golf app?

I noticed a lot of changes to Garmin Golf app this season. Historical shots are missing from recent rounds although older scorecards from the same course show historical shots. The same problem exists in the app and on the website.

Minor Correction: There is a page on the Golf App, which does show the fictional Garmin Handicap in the WHS format. However if i want to edit the handicap in an individual game i only can enter / correct full numbers.

My Stableford-Points are being calculated based of a Handicap, which the Garmin Golf App has decided to give to me, instead of my real Handicap. This "Garmin Handicap" can be found somehwere in the App and does not seem to have the current World Handicap Format (only full numbers like 41 are displayed instead of my 39.3).

This is really frustrating especially since i am able (and did) enter my Handicap on the watch (Approach S62) and specially selected a scoring based on Index & Slope.

It would be nice if the Handicap would be managed through the App and is synced to the Watch for the display & calculation of strokes during the games as well as the calculation of points after the game.

To make things worse I did switch phones and noticed that the game i played is no longer recorded as activity. (The checkbox on the phone is stil set.)

Golf Shot Map Not Working after Epix Update 23.18

Garmin Golf Shot Map not working or showing in the app after the Epix Gen 2 update 23.18

Has anyone else experienced this after the update? I can see the shot maps of the rounds played before the update, but no option to see shot maps for rounds played after the update.

I played Tuesday this week with the 25.11 update on my Epix Pro 42mm. Saved the round without the device restarting. The round sync'ed fine with the app (iOS26.2.1) and I am able to view the scorecard and....yes Shot Maps!
