Hi is there an update on this issue? This is now 7 months old…!!! Surely it can’t be that difficult to get the stats info to update and sync with the scorecard?

Garmin Golf Performance Stats completely empty

It looks like Performance Stats have some type of back end issue. I have dozens of rounds logged from my watch into the Garmin Golf app, but suddenly last week the performance stats section is blank and tells me to upload a scorecard to get started.

Even if I follow the prompt and manually upload a scorecard, that screen stays exactly the same. Tried all the usual suspects of clearing cash, storage, deleting the app so on and so forth but can't get performance stats to show. Even tried on a couple different devices, I have the app on and it all shows the same thing.

Incorrect calculation fo Handicap (instead it is based of a fictional Garmin Handicap)

My Stableford-Points are being calculated based of a Handicap, which the Garmin Golf App has decided to give to me, instead of my real Handicap. This "Garmin Handicap" can be found somehwere in the App and does not seem to have the current World Handicap Format (only full numbers like 41 are displayed instead of my 39.3).

This is really frustrating especially since i am able (and did) enter my Handicap on the watch (Approach S62) and specially selected a scoring based on Index & Slope.

It would be nice if the Handicap would be managed through the App and is synced to the Watch for the display & calculation of strokes during the games as well as the calculation of points after the game.

To make things worse I did switch phones and noticed that the game i played is no longer recorded as activity. (The checkbox on the phone is stil set.)

Minor Correction: There is a page on the Golf App, which does show the fictional Garmin Handicap in the WHS format. However if i want to edit the handicap in an individual game i only can enter / correct full numbers.

Golf Shot Map Not Working after Epix Update 23.18

Garmin Golf Shot Map not working or showing in the app after the Epix Gen 2 update 23.18

Has anyone else experienced this after the update? I can see the shot maps of the rounds played before the update, but no option to see shot maps for rounds played after the update.

I played Tuesday this week with the 25.11 update on my Epix Pro 42mm. Saved the round without the device restarting. The round sync'ed fine with the app (iOS26.2.1) and I am able to view the scorecard and....yes Shot Maps!

There's been no progress from a my perspective - I assume Garmin-Cody is still having the exact same issue I am that's persisted for several months. Would really love a fix for this, this is one of the more used Garmin Golf app functions I used..

The Epix Update 25.11 is released which includes

Fixed an issue where the device would sometimes shutdown when saving a Golf activity.

I haven't played a round since updating so I'm not sure if everything is resolved yet but I'd recommend updating and letting us know if it fixes the issue!

I do not get option to download or Syn CourseView Maps for Africa (I am in South Africa). The shot map functionality used to work fine.

I am now on the EPIX Gen 2 latest update - and experience the same error. When looking at the Map details in Garmin Express - I only see golf maps for the default region - USA. Is there a way to get it for South Africa?

I am experiencing the same problem. (I am from South Africa). The watch seems to reboot when attemting to save a game, and does not save the shot map. I have connected to Garmin Express yesterday (21 Jan 2026) and did an update on everything i could find, and rebooted the watch. Played thereafter and problem persists.

Thank you very much for your feedback, glad to know that some of us are interested in improving the line because I received 0 feedback from Garmin. I believe they don't care as long as the watches are being sold.

Some golf watches has tempo training like the approach line and the Fenix. I have an R10 as well and when in the range I do use the watch to see my tempo. How about have this integration to users that have a watch and an R10 or R50? To see the tempo information of the swing as an added metric in the app? Already submitted as an idea.

Currently, while both devices capture data simultaneously, they often live in separate "silos" within the Garmin ecosystem (the watch's Tempo Training app vs. the Golf app’s launch monitor session). Syncing these would create a comprehensive "Swing Dashboard," allowing you to correlate your 3:1 tempo ratio directly with the resulting ball flight and launch angle data in one view. Since you've already submitted this to the Garmin Ideas portal, you've taken the best step toward getting this feature on their development roadmap for a future firmware update.

Another round played and no change since last time.

i also have map updates that keep on crashing over wifi. It’s more related to the regions I play in, but it’s not acceptable that the basic functions are not working as expected.

looking into Garmin golf app I have noted that up-and-downs are not properly accounted for. Thank you Garmin, another reason to switch to Arcoss.

I played the first round of the year and had a restart at the end, losing all the shot maps.
Really looking forward to an urgent bug fix.

I played 18 on this past Saturday, and 9 holes on Sunday. Both recorded score and had shots on the map. The only way I could get it to work was by disabling activity tracking. It won't count the round as an activity, but you will get shot metrics and can see your shots from the round on the map.

I haven't played since 23.48 came out but, given the release notes, I wasn't optimistic that the bug fix needed for shot maps was going to be in there.

However there is a beta release going on now (25.03) that looks like it may be our joy-factor...long list of change log items that includes "Fixed an issue where the device would sometimes shutdown when saving a Golf activity."

Fingers crossed that it gets through the beta process successfully and soon.

I had another round crash. Running latest software 23.48

the round crashed and I lost both the score and maps. Thank you Garmin. The lack of reliability and support, together with the poor app features, is making Arcos on an Apple Watch seem like a much better choice…

Agree, but its pretty dead over hear, not a single software update in over a year for golf. I believe they tried releasing several watches, not achieving sales they expected and abandoned pretty much everything.

I think the ball impact view is great for practice. It would be perfect if you could a row showing club head and ball speed with smash factor to that view and you would not have to change to data field view.

This has been going on quite a long time now. @Garmin - what is the fix? I bought the Epix Pro Gen 2 42mm primarily for golf, but also use it for other activity tracking. Overall very happy, but very unhappy that shot maps no longer work. I can echo the same behavior. Play 18, End Round, Save...watch restarts. Scorecard syncs to phone app, but shot maps do not.
