After updating to V3.8.1, the ability to add a shot has vanished (no more plus sign). This functionality existed in the previous version. I have a Vivoactive 4 watch. upload of data from a round to the phone works fine. Tried reinstalling Golf app, but no change. This is not a problem with screen resolution. I would be happy to revert to the previous SW version, but don't know how.

Update:

The icon for adding a shot has changed. Instead of a "plus" sign, it now appears as a ball over a square in relief.

I consider this now solved.

If you have CT10s then this should be calculating. If you have CT10 sensors paired and are still not seeing this let me know and we can look further into this. Any screenshots you have of a hole/round that should be showing ups/downs will help as well.

I want to track more stats around my golf game, which is why I bought a Garmin watch. I really like that I can now track my fairways, greens and putts. I was wondering how the number of up & downs is calculated? It keeps showing 0, where there should be more. Shouldn't a par with 1 putt count as an up & down?

S70 Shot Map Missing and Performance Stats no longer tracking

For the last week, since June 30th, my shot map is no longer appearing in the app or on a web browser and the Performance Stats are not updating from my S70. I've tried several things to try to rectify this:

1. Logged out of app restarted phone no change

2. Uninstalled the app on my phone, no change.

3. Garmin Connect on a browser shows the shot map is missing. It's available for rounds before June 30th.

4. Confirmed my watch was not stuck with a Resume Round error.

5. Used Garmin Express to force a sync of my watch files, no change.

Some other things I tried were to check the course download cache, but I had no courses downloaded. Stat Tracking and Club Prompt are turned On. Big Numbers Mode is turned Off. Plays Like is also turned Off.

My searches tell me the data is permanently lost but I don't see how it was working on June 25th round then suddenly stops working from June 30th forward.

I'm running version 27.07. Is there a known bug in this software version causing this? Is there something I can do to try to get the shot map data to sync and get my performance stats to update? The missing round were actually very impactful to my handicap and I'd like to not lose them.

UPDATE: I confirmed on a chat with Garmin that this a known bug and they are working on a fix. Bug with the Golf App.

The article does not cover "Up & downs" or "sand saves". Since the app correctly records if I didn't make a Green-in-regulation, if I chip on and sink the putt, that should be an up & down and if I do the same but from the bunker and sink a putt for par that should be a sand-save

Hi Support! Thanks for your answer! Two points:

1) All the data is already in your database, linked with the club, the length, the hole, etc. For a software developer it should be easy to implement a function to always jump from the statistics to the longest hit of that club. I know that it's not easy to manage customer requests into a running product/software. But please do so.

2) I submitted this request, because I think that it will improve the user experience a lot. Please consider implementing this function into your app. It would mean a lot for your customers! Showing up the stats is a very nice function. But it's always a pity, crashing the whole club statistic, when you miss recording a shot correctly.

Deleting a club is not a solution. It would make the stats function completely obsolete, because you have too much effort to always look for the wrong hit you did weeks ago.

Other requests regarding this topic confirm the importance of this valued function for lots of your customers. I bought my watch (Fenix 8) because of the most advanced Golf features. And I think many Golfers do as well. This would be one small function to keep Garmin ahead of other vendors a bit longer.

Find wrong Golf club distance

Hi, I'd like to know how I can identify the specific scorecard/round, when I accidentially didn't choose the correct club. As a result the club is shown in the club statistics with an enormous distance, which sonetimes can't be right. According to the support of Garmin, I know that you should specify "the correct club" right in the game. But sometimes it happens and you just don't notice it.

I took the time and swiped throught te last ~50 golf rounds. But I cannot find it. Now I'm at a loss...

Meanwhile the statistics (maximum distance) of 4 or 5 clubs are completely wrong. My olny alternative would be to delete all played rounds and start new.

Please help!!!

It would be easy to just click on the (wrong) distance in the table of clubstatistics and jump to the round. There you could easily correct the wrong distance.

You are not able to reset the club stats, but you can delete the club(s) that are incorrect and add a new club of the same type to start from fresh. Correcting Golf Club Stats in the Garmin Golf App and Garmin Connect

As far as locating the incorrect round that was recorded, that is not possible, but we are always looking for ways to improve our user experience. In order to get that to the right place, please submit that at Garmin.com/ideas.

Several months ago, I submitted a very detailed request to update the course where I regularly play, including specific changes to slopes, tees, and hole handicaps. To this day, I have received zero response from Garmin.

For comparison, I submitted the exact same update request to The Grint, and the course was fully updated within one week.

This level of delay is unjustifiable. Garmin sells a premium product specifically focused on golf, yet users have no effective way to get basic course information corrected. Even more frustrating is the lack of any self-service tools. We can add hazards manually, but we cannot update critical scorecard data such as:

Course slope
Tee information and slope per tee
Hole handicaps

If the Garmin team is not going to respond to user requests, we should at least be given the ability to make these essential corrections ourselves.

I hope this post reaches the developers. This situation needs to improve.

Garmin Golf Performance Stats not working

My golf performance-stats are not showing anymore. This function has worked for approx a year. Watch is Venu 3 and everything syncs just fine. Scorecards are transferred and I can see all the strokes.
As I signed up for the garmin golf subscription the stats went blank. I ahve tried all the recomended solutions, but nothing fixes this issue.

I have seen other post about this, but no solution. Is this still work in progress?

Just download Garmin Golf v3.8.

New feature, I can edit putt and pin location.

Tested. Works great.

So the question is..... What is the point?

This information isn't being used to update the performance stats data. It still says we need a CT10 or CT1 on our clubs.

If that is the case, what data takes precedence in the Golf app stats?

If I have a CT10 on my putter AND edit my pin/putt locations, which data is used for performance stats.
