Incorrect calculation fo Handicap (instead it is based of a fictional Garmin Handicap)

My Stableford-Points are being calculated based of a Handicap, which the Garmin Golf App has decided to give to me, instead of my real Handicap. This "Garmin Handicap" can be found somehwere in the App and does not seem to have the current World Handicap Format (only full numbers like 41 are displayed instead of my 39.3).

This is really frustrating especially since i am able (and did) enter my Handicap on the watch (Approach S62) and specially selected a scoring based on Index & Slope.

It would be nice if the Handicap would be managed through the App and is synced to the Watch for the display & calculation of strokes during the games as well as the calculation of points after the game.

To make things worse I did switch phones and noticed that the game i played is no longer recorded as activity. (The checkbox on the phone is stil set.)

Garming Golf Impact view for R10

I think the ball impact view is great for practice. It would be perfect if you could a row showing club head and ball speed with smash factor to that view and you would not have to change to data field view.

Tempo in the R10?

Some golf watches has tempo training like the approach line and the Fenix. I have an R10 as well and when in the range I do use the watch to see my tempo. How about have this integration to users that have a watch and an R10 or R50? To see the tempo information of the swing as an added metric in the app? Already submitted as an idea.

Connection to USGA/GHIN?

When will the Garmin Golf app (S70) be upgraded with the API to connect to the USGA/GHIN to track official handicaps?

I have read the responses and I am surprised this has been requested for years and Garmin hasn't provided this feature yet.

Please update everyone on a timeline for this feature. This really isn't that big of an investment, considering other very small companies/apps have built an API.

Approach S62 not syncing to Google Pixel Phone

This is a recent issue and now very frustrating. Every time I try to connect via Bluetooth on my phone it shows a pairing number for a few seconds then it goes away. Multiple attempts will not connect. I have followed all the steps. Even rebooted (reset) my watch. Nothing. Help.

Golf Shot Map Not Working after Epix Update 23.18

Garmin Golf Shot Map not working or showing in the app after the Epix Gen 2 update 23.18

Has anyone else experienced this after the update? I can see the shot maps of the rounds played before the update, but no option to see shot maps for rounds played after the update.

I have several golf rounds that appear on watch and Connect app but not in Golf app?

I have tried all the uninstall/reinstall and sign-in advice. I have tried to sync watch (Fenix 7x) via Express and cable connection (although I couldn't find a 'sync' button). Anyone had this and solved it, please?

Golf App Crashes When Accessing Driving Range data

Garmin Golf app keeps crashing every time I try to look at Driving Range data from my R10. Just got the unit yesterday, updated everything to latest and app continues to crash only when clicking on the data set. Frustrating enough that it renders the device useless for me so I'm likely returning unless an answer can be provided.

change round to stapleford, after entering score

I wish to change a recorded round from stroke play to Stapleford, I have read and followed a few instructions, but none work so far

Can it be done retrospectively, either via the Android app or laptop app?

Two clubs won’t appear on my Venu, my club list in the app is how it should be.

A couple of questions.

1. With all of the course mapping Garmin has done, why does the Garmin golf app not provide interactive yardages to hazards or other aim points when playing? This would be incredibly helpful.

2. I've found that when connecting the Garmin golf app with my Garmin Z30 range finder, if my phone screen goes to sleep mode, the range finder no longer shows the yardages to the front and back of the green. Is this a known issue or user error?

I have a Garmin Adventure watch and I've got the Garmin Golf app on my Android phone but when I go to start an activity golf is not avaiable. If I try to add more to my list, golf is not available . I have download the maps for my local golf course and I've even successfully done this once before a couple of months ago. What am I doing wrong now?

Since the last update I don't see hazards on the golf app anymore?

After a 4.5-hour golf round walking 12 km on a hilly course while carrying a 20 kg bag, my Garmin reports a low training load (~20 points) and suggests minimal recovery needs, yet I feel significantly fatigued. The heart rate-based metric seems to underrepresent the effort of carrying weight and navigating elevation changes, as discussed in similar threads about low-intensity activities. I propose Garmin add options to input bag weight, like in rucking, and factor in elevation changes for golf, to better reflect the physical demands and improve training load accuracy for courses with significant terrain challenges.

When selecting club on watch after a stroke the old list of clubs are displayed.
The watch is fenix 7 pro.

Garmin Golf Performance Stats completely empty

It looks like Performance Stats have some type of back end issue. I have dozens of rounds logged from my watch into the Garmin Golf app, but suddenly last week the performance stats section is blank and tells me to upload a scorecard to get started.

Even if I follow the prompt and manually upload a scorecard, that screen stays exactly the same. Tried all the usual suspects of clearing cash, storage, deleting the app so on and so forth but can't get performance stats to show. Even tried on a couple different devices, I have the app on and it all shows the same thing.

Can not update and save tee and hcp in Garmin Golf android app. "Något har gått fel."

Since the latest update, my forerunner 955 does not prompt what golf club I used.

It was working fine until the update. I have followed the troubleshooter and the settings are all on. I even reset my watch.

Does anyone have any suggestions.. I emailed Garmin but have not received any reply.

No Scorecard with Longest Drive that I'm trying to delete

Hello,

In my Garmin Golf club statistics, it is showing that my longest drive is 329 yards (see attached). That would be a dream at my ripe age of 71.

My actual longest drive, which is shown on a scorecard at a local course is 259 yards (see attached).

But after reading other posts that have similar issues, and following those instructions, I have no scorecards on any course that has been recorded by Garmin with my CT10 club sensors that shows a 329 yard driver. So, my question is, how do I remove that 329 yard driver shot from my club statistics if there are no scorecards from any course that shows that shot?

Garmin golf not showing shot locations

I have reviewed all previous post regarding this issue and have been unsuccessful after following guidance to resolve the issue. The feature worked for half of my last golf round but missed 6 holes in a row. Worked on 17th and then did not record shots on the last hole. Scoring worked fine and watch battery was sufficiently charged. Worked flawlessly for the last couple of years since I purchased the watch.

This is my third Garmin golf watch that have all worked well.

I have wrong green sizes on our Golf course. How to fix it?

I have garmin S62, my friend has S70... and there are other too. We all see that Garmin shows one hole green in wrong size and location.

How can I initiate a change? I reported few times already, but nothing happens, nobody contacts me etc.

Can you help here?

Lack of Features and Stats in Garmin Golf Compared to Arccos

For 3 years I was an Arccos user. Arccos is very similar to Garmin Golf with the CT10 sensors in theory: every shot is automatically recorded with the GPS location and club used so you can score your round accurately and get pro level detailed stats about your game. But Garmin Golf is worse than Arccos in literally every single way, I am incredibly disappointed with it. It feels like golf is an afterthought of an afterthought, zero development time has been put into the features.

During the round the features on the watch are reasonable, you can get true distance, "plays like" distance, scorecard, etc. However the app on the phone during the round is essentially worthless. You see a top down picture of the hole, but not an actual interactive map to see where you are and all that. I had to install 18birdies to use on my phone at the same time to get the same features as I get during the round as Arccos. There also isn't any sort of virtual caddie, Garmin knows how far I hit my clubs on average, it knows the distance to the hole, the slope, the wind, etc, there is no reason why it shouldn't be able to recommend a club.

All that is not great but I could overlook if the data gathered and stats presented after the round were as good or better than Arccos. However they are significantly worse.

Club Stats:

All you get is average and max distances for all rounds, no ability to limit to # of last rounds or last shots
No fairways hit, missed, left, right with driver
No GIR hit, missed left, right, short, long with every iron and wedge
No visual map of where shots went
No Strokes Gained stats for clubs

Post-round Stats:

All you get is an overhead map of each hole, a scorecard, and basic GIR and fairways hit stats
No round average driving distance
No strokes gained at all
No scoring average by par of holes
No way to compare yourself to other handicaps

Course Stats:

All you get for course stats is # of rounds, average score, average GIR, average putts per hole, drive accuracy, and longest drive.
No strokes gained at all
No scoring average by par of holes
No average score or stats per hole
No handicap by shot type (drive, approach, short game, putting)

Player Stats:

Garmin Golf has the "Performance Stats" section which has: # of rounds, average score over last 10 rounds, a very bad graph of Strokes Gained vs similar handicaps, very simple "increasing, decreasing, maintaining" trend images, and some sort of percentile ranking
No Stroke Gained numbers and no ability to change who you are comparing yourself to
No average scores by par
No actual trend lines
No stats of averages by hole length
No stats of averages by hole shape
No stats for approach distances
No stats for shot terrain type (fairway, rough, sand)

Not to mention they have a great web app that all of this data can be viewed on, not just a phone app.

The single thing Garmin does better is work with my Garmin Fenix 7x watch that I already have. The watch itself is amazing and I wouldn't trade it for anything. But the Garmin Golf app fails in every category to the point that it is completely worthless. They are years behind in feature development and from what it seems they aren't working on trying to catch up to their competitors at all.
