I have a Garmin Descent MK2i and have been using it for sometime now.

There are instances where the dive computer logs the dive, but doesn't sync it with the Garmin Dive app.

Has anyone faced the issue before? What can I do to solve it?

I have a total of 33 dives under my belt. I have had a Garmin MK2 and MK2i for dives 13 and on. I just recently went in and added records of my dives 1-12 to my garmin dive account through the web. They show in the correct order on the garmin connect website. To verify everything was looking correctly I went to check it in the app on my android and those dives are now coming through as dives 34-46 instead of 1-12 on my phone.

Today's dives are logged in my MK3i and show up in connect but do not appear in Dive app.

Ive syncd many times, Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, rebooted phone and watch.

I also did the trick where you log in to garmin connect via web, make a minor edit to the Dive activity and save it. But the dives still don't appear in Dive app. Help please! Currently on a dive trip and would like to resolve it.

6249072 3913841 Since we've recently released some Connect updates, can you make sure you are up to date on both apps and web versions. If you are still experiencing this after updating to those new versions, please provide screenshots of the differing data between the apps. **

2352356 2725874 This should have been resolved with the latest update in Connect mobile apps. Please make sure you are on the version 5.26, uninstall and reinstall both Connect and Dive apps and sync the watches again.

If this does not resolve the dives showing in Connect, please upvote this comment so we can look at other options. **

Same issue for me today on garmin connect and garmin dive..

I am using mk3i

If I uninstall garmin dive it reappear again in garmin connect

I’m also noticing this issue. Dive numbers are correct on Garmin Connect web, but after syncing to the Android Dive app, the sequence gets rearranged or shows incorrect numbering. It seems like the app isn’t preserving the original order during sync. Hope this can be fixed soon with a proper sync update.

Can Garmin add a feature to the Garmin Dive app to allow us to merge 2 dives together? Yes, we can adjust the dive interval on the dive computer to not automatically trigger a new dive, but this doesn't help after the fact.

Missing dive on Garmin dive app logbook

I accidentally deleted a dive that was recorded in my logbook on Garmin Dive. On my MK3i, this dive is still saved. I tried refreshing the synchronization between my MK3i and Garmin Dive, but the missing dive was not transferred. How can I “force” this transfer from my MK3i? Thank you for your help.

Since the dive is still stored on your MK3i, you could try deleting the device from Garmin Dive/Garmin Connect and then pairing it again to trigger a full sync. You can also try syncing through the Garmin Connect app first before opening Garmin Dive. In some cases, restarting the watch and forcing a manual sync helps recover missing activities. Hopefully Garmin can add an easier “re-import dive” option in the future.

What I’m doing currently is putting the mk3i in pool mode so it will not log the dives.
I’m still hoping for an update/ that allows us to choose in the app.

In Garmin Dive setup I set a starting dive number of 1046. The logs have some dives from the Mk3i and some dives from the X50i counting from 1046 but others counting from 1. The Mk3i is set as primary.

If I delete all logs:

Can I set the starting dive number to 1046, again?

How can I tell the Mk3i to reload all it's dives again? In hopes it starts with 1047.

It seems like a software enhancement is needed to be able to separate dive logs by computer model before I should try to upload dives from the X50i again.

I also have the MK3i and have upgraded to the X50i. I want to use the X50i as primary and MK3i as backup but have no idea how to do it. I have done one diving day with them both. In the dive app they both downloaded and the numbers were correct but I only want to download load from the X50i. Not sure of the best way use these two computers to the best advantage.

Same situation for my wife and I. We did 4 dives today. All of them appear in the Connect App activities, but the last three are not syncing with Garmin Dive (only the first dive at 9am AST.) We have been on a dive trip for the past week, and all dives were syncing fine until late this morning. We're using Garmin Descent MK3. Seems like an issue with Garmin Dive systems.

After today's dive, my activities show on connect but not on dive, I opened the dive app and they where there for a few seconds then they dissapear.

I was using the X50i and the Fénix 8 as a backup.

Garmin Dive app, the best solution is usually to manually upload or re-import the activity into Garmin Connect. Refresh syncing alone often doesn’t restore deleted logbook entries once they’ve been removed from the app database.

This was actually an issue between the web based Garmin Connect (chrome browser on a pc) and the Garmin Dive App. The Garmin dive app is version 3.5 the Garmin Connect app currently installed on my phone is 5.24.1 (android pixel 7).

I entered all my old dives on the web browser as manual activities and labeled them the same as my dives that auto logged with the watch. I've already manually resolved the records but in the screen shots attached where it says 1. koloa landing ..... 2. Koloa landing, when they first synced and ported over these were labeled 34, 35.... 46 for all the manually entered dives, even though on the web browser they were properly labeled as dive #1, 2, ..... In the dive number field.

Most likely the .FIT file on your device is corrupt. There are bugs in the device system software which appear to cause intermittent file corruption. Unfortunately Garmin support isn't very interested in fixing the root causes so we just live with it.

Try syncing over a USB cable with Garmin Express but most likely it still won't work. So you can try to repair it with other software.
