I dive sidemount with two transmitters, I also have two or three tanks with me without transmitters. App says that SAC is calculated based on just one transmitter data even when I fill in start and end pressures for all cylinders without transmitters. This obviously gives me some really weird SAC rates.

Does everyone else have the same problem?

When I want to Close the App I do receive an Error Message:

After that Message, Notifications are not received anymore. Before the last Update I could close the App and the sync service hast been startet. This is not happening anymore.

When I keep the App open, the Notifications are received

Since 02.08.2026, I need to keep the Dive App Open constantly to receive Notifications in my watch, because the App ist crashing in Backgroundmode.

Is this a reason of the latest Update?

The Garmin Dive app will download completed dives from your dive computer without requiring an active internet connection. No internet connectivity causing dive log sync issues

Last week I was on a liveaboard with no Internet access. After diving, I'd pull up my phone (in airplane mode), sync my dives with my Mk3i via Bluetooth, and capture notes about the dive in the Android Garmin Dive app. I did this successfully for 22 dives on the trip.

Problems arose when we got back in-country and had Internet access again. I'm not sure exactly, but I believe what happened was:

The Android Garmin Connect app detected the Internet connection and synchronized the FIT files from the watch to the cloud;
The cloud processed the dive logs and added them to Connect Web;
When I opened the Android Garmin Dive app, it hung at startup because the local dives (with notes) didn't match the cloud dives (without notes);
After turning airplane mode back on, I was able to start the android Garmin Dive app, see the local dive files and take screenshots to backup the notes;
With the notes backed up, I reconnected to Connect Web, I used OCR to copy the notes text from the screenshots, and paste them individually into each dive;
Finally, I uninstalled the Android Garmin Dive app, to clear out the local dive files, and reinstalled to pull the dive list (with notes) from the cloud.

Since the dive log notes were still available locally, they weren't lost as long as the phone didn't have Internet access and didn't try to reconcile duplicate logs from the cloud.

Not looking for an immediate fix, but would just like guidance on what the expected behavior should be:

Should I not be able to edit dive logs while offline?
Is there some kind of data precedence enforced using modification date of the dives?
Was the fact that Android Garmin Connect was syncing dives instead of the Android Garmin Dive app the problem?
Should I plan to capture dive notes, such as DM/buddy/site name, visibility, sights, etc. in a different app until I'm sure I have Internet access and dive files have fully synced?

Data sync with Garmin Dive app (android)

I have a Garmin Descent MK2i and have been using it for sometime now.

There are instances where the dive computer logs the dive, but doesn't sync it with the Garmin Dive app.

Has anyone faced the issue before? What can I do to solve it?

I’ve been using a Garmin Descent MK2i for a while, and every now and then it records a dive on the watch but doesn’t sync it to the Garmin Dive app. GiftCardMall

I have a total of 33 dives under my belt. I have had a Garmin MK2 and MK2i for dives 13 and on. I just recently went in and added records of my dives 1-12 to my garmin dive account through the web. They show in the correct order on the garmin connect website. To verify everything was looking correctly I went to check it in the app on my android and those dives are now coming through as dives 34-46 instead of 1-12 on my phone.

Today's dives are logged in my MK3i and show up in connect but do not appear in Dive app.

Ive syncd many times, Uninstalled and reinstalled the app, rebooted phone and watch.

I also did the trick where you log in to garmin connect via web, make a minor edit to the Dive activity and save it. But the dives still don't appear in Dive app. Help please! Currently on a dive trip and would like to resolve it.

2352356 2725874 This should have been resolved with the latest update in Connect mobile apps. Please make sure you are on the version 5.26, uninstall and reinstall both Connect and Dive apps and sync the watches again.

If this does not resolve the dives showing in Connect, please upvote this comment so we can look at other options. **

I am using mk3i

If I uninstall garmin dive it reappear again in garmin connect

I’m also noticing this issue. Dive numbers are correct on Garmin Connect web, but after syncing to the Android Dive app, the sequence gets rearranged or shows incorrect numbering. It seems like the app isn’t preserving the original order during sync. Hope this can be fixed soon with a proper sync update.

Can Garmin add a feature to the Garmin Dive app to allow us to merge 2 dives together? Yes, we can adjust the dive interval on the dive computer to not automatically trigger a new dive, but this doesn't help after the fact.
