Under Armour Record App

Last night, I DL'd the Under Armour Record App. I like the way it looks and many of the functions but it is not pulling over step information from Garmin Connect.
Has anyone else DL'd the app and have any suggestion on getting the synch issue fixed?

I tried it out, no transfer of step information for me either. Probably would need to contact UA since it is their app and they are pulling the data.

Found this on their support site

    https://uarecord.zendesk.com/hc/en-us/articles/203424459-Why-isn-t-my-Garmin-device-working-

Basically vivofit and vivosmart aren't supported as yet.
  • It's not just the Record app, it's Garmin's policy. A while back they removed the steps from the general API, and even in the Garmin applications steps are not merged with activities. I haven't seen any 3rd party app that can read Garmin steps, so even though the UA zendesk is vague about availability, I wouldn't hold my breath for that. Here's another place that mentions it: http://www.fitdatasync.com/faq/

MyFitnessPal is able to pull in steps from Garmin Connect once the apps are connected, so I'm not convinced it's Garmin removing it from the API. I hope this issue is resolved soon because I love the Vivosmart, but this is frustrating!
