I use CityStrides.com for my runs and walks. I'm currently approaching 70% of my city's streets completed with runs from my house. You can connect your Garmin account directly to CityStrides.

I understand there's a similar service for bikes.

thx! works in chrome as well, but I had to set the intervall to +t=10000 to get them all.

It's jQuery, from error looks like you just missed j letter.

Should this still work? I get a 404 error on the activitylist-service URL, and nothing downloaded.. Error is:

"Uncaught ReferenceError: Query is not defined"

Yes, it's normal search link from Connect Web, if you need more filters just check them on the website and add them by &. Some parameters were listed in other script's post.

To download in batches, add the start parameter, example: &start=700.

The buildings downtown blocked much of the sky, making the GPS less accurate. By running down the middle of the street, more sky was visible

In trying to cover all the roads in my city, I was concerned about running the downtown area. I chose a Sunday because of reduced traffic. I chose one close to the longest day of the year, so I could start early with some light. It worked out well. I was even able to run down the middle of the street in several places.

I also use Google Earth - I was exporting all of my rides from Garmin Connect into it (as well as adding all the roads I knew I'd ever ridden as a youngster - did those bya hand in another app before importing into GE) so I could see what I hadn't explored. I figured out that just around where I live in Devon there were nearly 100 miles of country roads/back lanes in a kind of square surrounded by 4 main roads (rode those too) - now back to exploring further afield but it would be immensely helpful to have that in GC. Going to have a look at VeloViewer's Explorer now

Thanks for sharing this script. I have 1439 activities I am trying to move to a new account.

Is there a way to tell the script to start at a certain activity? The first time I ran it I got over 700 activities downloaded but then the web site session timed out and each time I try again the script starts at the most recent activity and downloads activities I already have until the session times out at about 200-300 activities.

This is one of the reasons I'm paying for Strava Summit. Also using Google Earth and Basecamp to save every track. Ran every road in my county. Moved to a new county and almost done with that. Saving some of the most dangerous roads for when I can get an escort.

Such a map can be used for "coverage challenges." A group agrees on an area to be covered, and competes to see who can cover the area first. Or, it might be interesting to try that without competing to see who can do it first -- just watch the covered area increase by each member of the group.

A variation is to allow different users to combine their coverage runs onto one map -- a team coverage map.

I asked for something like that. I'm a runner. Some of the runs I do I call "coverage runs." I hope to eventually run every public street in the city twice, eventually covering the entire city.

I want to be able to choose specific runs to show on a map.

Except me, the OP. And I found Strava which had exactly what I asked for (which was basically a heat map). And then I found Veloviewer which made the heat map so much cooler. We're a whole community there, I made this short film:

All activities can be downloaded using this script.

Use in web-browser console (shortcut: F12), tested in Firefox.

Set the limit=200 to match your activities count.

When downloading larger files, set more wait time: t+=10000.

Download 1 GPX file by hand, and click on the checkbox to download all GPX files without asking.

Now open the console and check "Persist Logs" (to keep logs about all files).

Paste the script and press Enter.

This would be a really nice feature.

But now we can only do it by hand - using one of other programs.

Download your activities as GPX files and open in program like those:

GPX Editor 1.7.14 (File -> Add GPX):

JOSM 15322 (File -> Open...):

Using JOSM, you can also edit OpenStreetMap and make maps more accurate - adding missing paths. Which can be done easier, as you can see your GPS tracks on the map.
