Sometimes, it says connected on the phone but the garmin connect app just won't update. Also the Garmin Connect App is horrible too. I can't upload any data to my phone if i were not connected to internet. The wifi doesn't connect easily, The music app is also not working as it should.[/quote]

As far as I see, most problems are actually not with the watch:

Disconnections from the phone are rarely caused by the watch, rather by some battery optimizing features of the phone, or a conflict between phone's Wi-Fi and Bluetooth (both of them use the same band at 2.4 GHz). At iPhone there used to be close to no complaints in the past, and myself I have no problems at all with my very old iPhone. However, with the newest iPhone models, the reports of people experiencing some connectivity issues increase, so I suspect that iPhone either added some battery optimizing features, which may be critical for low energy devices using BLE, or that their 2.4GHz filters separating individual channles got worse than they used to be.

Upload without Internet - that's how the app works, since the data is stored on the cloud. I do not find it limiting, since there is rarely any hurry to have the data uploaded. If you need some limited offline functionality, have a look at Garmin Explore

Wi-Fi - I do not know whether you mean difficulties to connect to new access points, or if you have problems connecting to your home AP, but if the requirements for the Wi-Fi are met, it normally works fine. If you use the iPhone as a hotspot, the problem may be related to the first issue. And also, fiddling with the Wi-Fi channels of the AP may help getting a wider gap between the channels used by W-Fi and BT, improving the signal/noise ratio.

Music - not sure what you mean, so far Music works just fine for me (though not using the same watch), but if you describe the problem, perhaps there is a solution. However, although sometimes I appreciate the feature, issues with music do not seem to be a major problem to me.

Cold water shutdown - that's indeed a more serious issue of the watch self. It was often reported by Fenix 8 users, and in many cases it could have been fixed by calibrating the inductive buttons, F8 uses. MK3 uses also inductive leak-proof buttons, but I did not hear yet that they could be calibrated in the same way as at F8. Perhaps it is worth of testing or asking the Support about it. Another possibility is that the Light button is lightly stuck by salt deposits, and in the cold water, under pressure it gets activated and shuts down the watch.

I consider crashes, as described by Adam-1972 for another serious problem at a diving watch. Those are often caused by some kind of memory leakage. And that can be mitigated by rebooting the watch. I do not tell it can prevent all kind of crashes, but I definitely recommend syncing and force-rebooting the watch before important events (like races, long trips), or before dives. It may prevent or delay the crashes.

I found my Decent MK3-i extremely unreliable, Am I the only one? With the 3rd watch, I constantly getting disconnected from my phone even though none of them on battery saving mode! I have steps on the top, don't want them in my focus or at a glance.

Notice how it says "Optimal Range" should be dark grey, but it's green.

Repro steps:

Go to "Training Load" page

View "Acute Load" Graph

Press the "Chronic Load" button to toggle the graph

Notice that the legend has changed (Optimal Range went from green to dark grey and acute load went from white to grey)

Toggle to the "Load Ratio" graph

Notice the legend incorrectly shows the acute load graph legend color.

For example, yesterday my load focus widget shows 0 high aerobic, but when I clicked on the glance widgets, it would show the high aerobic workout I did from 2 days ago. It took 2 days for the widget to finally update and show the stuff below. Similarly, training readiness almost never matches what is shown when I actually click on the glance widget. Even if I try to pull down to refresh the detailed page, it doesn’t update even 5ish hours later (see second image).

RE: [BUG] - Glance widget data different from details page

I don't have a CIRQA linked to my account.
