HIIT workout unable to change reps

The HIIT workout set up in iOS no longer allows modification of the reps. If you change the count to reps it defaults to 10. You can go in and change the number, but no matter what you put upon going back to the set screen it’s always showing as 10 reps

I’m having a persistent pairing issue with my Forerunner 265 and iPhone that I have not been able to resolve with the standard troubleshooting steps.

I’m currently on Garmin Connect version 5.30.0.11 and iOS 26. Garmin Connect does not appear at all under Settings > Privacy & Security > Bluetooth on the iPhone.

The watch itself can show as Connected in the iPhone Bluetooth settings, but Garmin Connect repeatedly fails during setup with “Pairing Failed.” I have also received the iOS error “Cannot Add Accessory.” At other points Garmin Connect has shown “No Accessory Found.”

I have already tried removing the watch from iPhone Bluetooth, removing and reinstalling Garmin Connect, restarting both the iPhone and watch, turning Bluetooth off and back on, putting the watch into Pair Phone mode, and confirming Screen Time / Content & Privacy Restrictions are off. I have also confirmed that Garmin Connect is fully updated.

The watch was working previously, and I am trying to avoid factory resetting it because I have seen other recent reports where a reset did not resolve the issue.

The part that seems most unusual is that Garmin Connect is completely missing from the iPhone Bluetooth permissions list, despite the app being installed and attempting to pair.

Has anyone from Garmin identified a fix for this, or can Garmin support collect diagnostics from my account/device? This appears similar to several recent iOS pairing and Bluetooth permission issues being reported with the Forerunner 265/265S.

My Forerunner drops its Bluetooth connection on my iPhone IOS27. My Edge Connects disconnects as well. After rebooting Watch and forced close app mostly reconnects but after a while connection gets dropped. Also in the IPhone settings there isn’t a Bluetooth connection. App is 5.30.1.1

I have a new Forerunner 265 and started a Garmin Run Coach 5K plan with a 20-minute goal. I completed the Benchmark Run on 12 October, and Garmin Connect shows the completed 5.05 km activity with a VO₂ max estimate of 43. However, the plan still schedules another Benchmark Run and shows “Workout – Stay tuned for details” for subsequent days. I have renamed the activity to “Benchmark Run,” synced the watch, and paused/resumed the plan, but the issue persists. Could you investigate whether the benchmark is linked to a stale plan or whether the Coach schedule needs to be refreshed on your side?

Garmin coach: benchmark run not registering - and therefore not providing other workouts

I did the benchmark run for a garmin coach plan - it shows in my activities in connect on the right day, but somehow is not synching with garmin coach. Garmin coach seems to still be waiting for me to do the benchmark run, and therefore isn't populating any of the workouts. Can I/you make them synch, or somehow manually enter it? I don't want to waste another day.

My Garmin fēnix 9 Pro (51 mm) is counting my steps twice. It seems to be doubling my step count, and I would like to know why this is happening. For context, I also have a Garmin CIRQA smart band and a Garmin HRM 600 heart rate monitor. Could any of these

Ehm no it doesn’t? My stress score during the night is 10 if I look at it in the “stress” screen. But then in the sleep score it appears to be way higher. The average in the graph isn’t the same that average appears in the sleep score. I’ve seen that this issue has been reported many times in this forum with other Garmin models.

Simply said: my average sleep stress isn’t as high as the sleep score says it is. The graph shows this very clearly.

For the last month my sleep stress score doesn’t seem to match the graph. My stress during the night is always around 6-9 and the highest peaks are like 15. If I look at the stress score overal It matches the graph but when I look into my sleep it doesn’t.

This also seems to impact my sleep score in general. The Numbers that gave me 90+ scores everyday now give me 80-88 because of the stress problem heavily impacting it. What’s going on here?

Hi 8791093 I am not sure I understand what issue you are referring to. The sleep stress graph appears to accurately reflect your stress level throughout the night.

Hi Thank you very much for the information. Yes, of course we have also changed the batteries a few times. They would actually not have lasted 14 years.

Everything already tried... unpaired mobile phone restarted and repaired - unfortunately without success. Seems that I need a new device :-(

Hallo, ich habe den Vivovit 1 und er hat bisher wunderbar die Schritte synchronisiert - Jetzt tut er es leider nicht mehr - er verbindet sich mit dem Handy oder auch mit dem iPad oder dem PC - zeigt überall an, dass er verbunden ist, aber die Schritte werden nicht aktualisiert Auch über Garmin Express wird angezeigt, dass der Vivovit auf dem aktuellen Stand ist. Was kann ich denn jetzt noch machen? Ich brauch nur den Schrittzähler...hat jemand eine Idee. Über Unterstützung freue ich mich sehr.

Neu eingerichtet habe ich das Gerät natürlich auch schon. LG Karin

I believe I am experiencing the same issue. Fenix 6 and AirPods Pro v1. Is this supposedly resolved? Hopefully a fix might be made for older watches?

Airpods connect/disconnect to iPhone

I recently got a Fenix 8 47 mm AMOLED and really love it HOWEVER, for some reason my Airpods have stopped working with my iphone. I do not want to connect the airpods to the watch and haven'r done so eather, but not when I want to use the airpods with my phone, they keep connecting and disconnecting instantly. I know its the garmin watch / app spooking because they work perfect when the watch is disconnected.

I have also tried resetting the airpod connection with my iphone but with the same results.

Anyone else experienced this and know how to solve it?

You are only able to see additional data points such as total time or average pace on Garmin Connect Web in the All Activities page. One option is to use filters by clicking the three lines in the top right corner.

I'm having the same issue - it works fine when I'm creating strength workouts but with HIIT it is stuck at 10 reps.

It’s honestly so frustrating using Garmin Connect these days because the design and app feel completely stuck in the past. We’re on iOS 26 and iOS 27, yet the app isn't even optimised for modern software. It looks incredibly outdated and the performance is painfully slow. What makes it worse is the complete lack of local caching; every single time you open a menu, the app lags just trying to fetch your data from scratch instead of loading it instantly. You pay premium prices for their hardware, but the software experience makes it feel like an abandoned app from 15 years ago. The competition is moving FAST!

All very valid points, and it is somewhat disappointing that there has been zero response from any Garmin representative, especially as we're paying for these 'features'.

What is this about? It started appearing on my nutrition schedules every day, but serves absolutely no purpose? You can't add to it, as logged food/drink is timestamped, so is either categorised as a snack or within meal windows. Baffling.

It’s not really past the beta testing stage is it? I really want to use it as it’s great to have everything in one place but it’s full of bugs

- text search for foods doesn’t work at all - not once, it can’t even find tuna ffs & that applies in Spanish and English, that’s a cancelled subscription after the free trial I’m afraid. I note that someone else told you that 3 months ago on this forum

- Meal calorie goals don’t update when I change them

- why can’t I add custom meals - like every other nutrition app? I dont want pre/durring/post workout foods mixed into a snacks section & many of us eat more than 3 meals per day

- why is the default portion size 100g instead of the logical 1g or even the actual pack/individually wrapped size?. It’s mildly irritating for something like 60g of oats but it’s a total pain in the *** for 5 26g energy chews

- why can’t I add foods? - again like every other nutrition app. It wouldn’t be so bad if the text search worked but I end up bodging generic foods in for the AI (which took 4 attempts to add a simple tomato after wrongly identifying it as a mexican ready meal 3 times followed by tomato juice)

-why does it remind me to log foods every night when I have clearly been logging all day? (I know it’s a setting but I want to be reminded if I forget not arbitrarily) once again like every other nutrition app

- why doesn’t it talk to training peaks ffs - which you now own?

- why does the AI add not give me the option to amend portions before it commits the food to a meal? no one eats 100g of every food they add or wants to re-open an entry to amend a portion size

- why do I have a random “uncategorised” meal at 7am every day that I can’t actually add anything to?

- why cant I add absolute values for macros? If my calories are adjusted to 4353 for the day I do not want or need to have my protein adjusted to 326g, I want to continue eating my 2g/kg and adjust my carbs & I certainly dont want to eat 121g of fat

I think that’s it for now, I really want to like it but you are making it really difficult.

Have a look at the foodnoms iOS app that’s what good looks like and where I will be returning to in Oct if this doesn’t improve - I have an active annual subscription there already but I’d gladly leave that for a working garmin app.

Like Hexis you are charging a premium for a product that’s not even out of beta testing. Lets be honest it’s the only part of connect+ worth paying for so it really should work.
