Ride With GPS syncing question

Hi. Posted this first in the Edge Explore 2 forum and then realized it's probably more relevant here. I've connected my Garmin account to my RWGPS account and pin routes so they appear on my device. If I pin a route (mine or someone else's) and the source file is later updated with a route change, will that change appear on the route loaded to my device? I'm assuming the route on my device will update with the next sync, but want to confirm. Thanks.

Hi there,

There seems to be a regression on the iOS app where I couldn't discover any new / upcoming monthly challenges. In addition, the names of the challenges is all in snake case.

I am also facing the same issue with my garmin instinct 3 AMOLED Version. When I listen to music via my AirPods Pro 3, they get disconnected and connected in a loop because my watch is connected. I have updated the software version to latest till date and still didn’t fix this issue. Please give me a solution.

Airpods connect/disconnect to iPhone

I recently got a Fenix 8 47 mm AMOLED and really love it HOWEVER, for some reason my Airpods have stopped working with my iphone. I do not want to connect the airpods to the watch and haven'r done so eather, but not when I want to use the airpods with my phone, they keep connecting and disconnecting instantly. I know its the garmin watch / app spooking because they work perfect when the watch is disconnected.

I have also tried resetting the airpod connection with my iphone but with the same results.

Anyone else experienced this and know how to solve it?

How is this acceptable - why are you still selling watches that screw up iPhones. Just bought a new watch today and as a result cannot use my airpods anymore. How do I fix this. My watch has all updates (app says no new updates) - I want my working airpods back

Same problem. Deleted and reinstalled Connect on iOS. No challenges or expeditions available. Can see them on the web, and can add them, but then they show up messed up in the app. Garmin, please fix this.

I set nutrition information stats to be displayed in quick view of main screen of Garmin Connect in my iPhone (15 Pro Max, iOS 26.4).

I input nutrition information at MyFitnessPal and have it connected to Garmin Connect so that information is synchronized. I'm not a Connect+ subscriber.

Since yesterday, nutrition information is not shown in main screen quick view (attached picture)

Even after inputting calories information at MyFitnessPal, Garmin Connect keeps showing that there is no food registered.

However, if I navigate through menus (More/Nutrition/Nutrition), calories information are displayed correctly:

The issue seems to be only in the statistics shown in quick view of main screen.

Feature Request: Manual Body Fat Percentage Input for Fitness Age in Garmin Connect

Hello Garmin Community and Garmin Team,

I would like to request an improvement in Garmin Connect related to Fitness Age, BMI, and body composition data.

Currently, Garmin Connect does not provide a clear and direct way to manually enter body fat percentage from reliable external sources such as DEXA, InBody, professional bioimpedance, or a physical assessment.

As a result, Fitness Age may rely on BMI when body fat percentage is not available through a Garmin Index or Index S2 scale. BMI can be inaccurate for users who do strength training, have higher muscle mass, or are actively improving their body composition.

My requests are:

1. Allow manual body fat percentage input in Garmin Connect.
2. Allow users to add the measurement date and source.
3. Clearly show whether Fitness Age is using body fat percentage or BMI.
4. Improve transparency around the Fitness Age calculation.

I have already submitted this through Garmin Share Ideas and contacted Garmin Support. A support ticket was created and linked to my Garmin account.

Is anyone else experiencing the same limitation with Fitness Age and BMI?

I have already submitted this through Garmin Share Ideas, contacted Garmin Support, and a support ticket has been created and linked to my account.

I also know about the CSV import workaround, but I don’t think users should have to find workarounds to record such a fundamental health metric. Workarounds solve our problem, not the product’s limitation.

Garmin Connect already allows manual weight entry, so allowing manual body fat percentage from reliable sources such as DEXA, InBody, or professional bioimpedance would be a natural extension of that functionality.

I have been using Garmin watches for many years and currently own a fēnix 8. My body fat is around 12%, yet Garmin Connect estimates approximately 24% because it falls back to BMI. For users who do strength training, BMI is simply not an appropriate representation of body composition.

I believe this small improvement would make Garmin Connect more accurate and more valuable for many users.

If i join the challenges online, the added challenges are shown like this in the app. Joining a challenge trough the app is still not possible

I also cannot see the challenges I‘ve not yet accepted in the app.

(accepting in the web interface worked for me, but that‘s an inconvenient workaround)

Not sure when the problem started but I swiched to a new mobile yesterday (Both iPhones) and I noticed it just today on the new one.

@Garmin tbh i don't have a 900$ watch to need a laptop to sync my activities. My friends with Suuntos had their stats right away. Please have a look for that if/catch that prevents "older" activities from syncing when reconnecting to service after a couple days. Thanks for your consideration. Rant over.

Hi there,

i‘ve been on a multi-day trek in the mountains. I have 5 activities recorded on the watch. Back with service, i wanted to sync to the Garmin Connect App.

However, only the latest activity synced to the app. The next day, randomly the second latest activity synced.
I‘ve tried turning watch and phone on/off, disconnecting/reconnecting, bluetooth on/off. Nothing gets the first 3 activities to sync to the app.

I have the Enduro 2 on 28.02 SW + Garmin Connect on iOS 5.26.2.

Never had sync issues after multi-day offline treks before.

Could you help out here?

I recommend suggesting it to Garmin at Share Ideas | Garmin. And in the case you are not aware of it, although not as comfortable as with an input field in Connect, you can enter Body Fat pretty easily by importing a simple CSV file.
