Trying to change alert settings so I don’t get the constant connected, disconnected alerts non stop since the update but it keeps saying I need to allow Bluetooth in my phone setting ms for the app but it is already allowed. In the app In more and phone permissions it says Bluetooth is allowed so why can’t I change my alert settings or any other settings. These constant connected/diaconnected alerts are driving me nuts!

I’m experiencing a reproducible issue with Garmin Connect.

Device:

iPhone 16 Pro

Software:

iOS 26.5
Garmin Connect 5.26.09

Issue:
After pairing my Rally XC210 power meter pedals, Garmin Connect crashes when I try to open graphs for activities that include power data.

Activities recorded without the pedals, where no power data is present, open normally and all graphs can be viewed without any issue. However, in activities where power metrics are present, the app crashes as soon as I open the graph/chart view.

The problem started only after connecting the Rally XC210 pedals. Before that, Garmin Connect worked normally.

Has anyone else experienced this issue? Is there a known workaround or fix?

How can I sync edited strength workouts to Strava?

Hi everyone,

I'm trying to figure out if I'm missing something or if this is just how the Garmin-Strava integration works.

I record my strength workouts on my Garmin watch, and they sync to Strava almost immediately. The problem is that I usually spend a few minutes afterward editing the workout in Garmin Connect because some exercises are detected incorrectly, or I want to adjust the sets, reps, or weights.

Even after I save those edits in Garmin Connect, Strava still shows the original, unedited version. It looks like only the initial upload gets synced.

Is there any way to force Garmin to sync the updated workout to Strava without deleting the activity and uploading it again manually? Or is this simply a limitation of the integration?

I'm surprised there isn't an option to delay the automatic sync by a few minutes so users can review and edit their workouts first.

I did a workout in zwift, how do I link that to the adaptive workout in my plan in garmin connect after it syncs?

I have an adaptive cycling plan and it is actively suggesting workouts. If I am outside riding using my garmin headunit (Edge 840 solar), I just activate teh workout and it all matches up great. For some of the interval workouts, it's pretty hard to do those clean outside, so i created a manual ride in zwift mapping the suggested power and durations from my garmin plan and ride it. Zwift does send the workout to Garmin connect, but connect doesn't seem to reconize that this was the suggested workout and I don't see a way to link them.... What am I missing?

I found a reddit thread on re-writing fit files with ID"s but that appears to only work for static workout plans, not the adaptive plans.

How to keep notifications in iOS Notification Center for later use?

I receive App notifications on my Fenix 7 - good! However, some notifications say, e.g. “tap here to see more”. Obviously I can’t tap on the watch.

Problem is that the notification can no longer be found in the iOS’ notification center, Garmin Connect App automatically "consumed" it. The app in question doesn't store it either, so it's permanently gone...

So, how can I have notifications delivered both to the watch and the phone's notification center?

Activities Power Mode

When configuring an Activity Power Mode in Garmin Connect (at least in the iOS version), any custom Power Modes that I’ve created do not appear on the list of available Power Modes. Fortunately, my custom Power Modes are listed when configuring the Power Mode on my watch (Enduro 3).

Remove & Reconnect Device - connection issue

Over the past two to three months, I’ve started experiencing an issue with Garmin Connect. My device (Descent MK2) occasionally appears with a red dot in the upper-right corner of the screen. When I tap it, I get the following message:

“Your Descent MK2 is no longer connected. First remove the device, and then you’ll be guided through the steps to reconnect it.”

It’s really frustrating to have to reconnect my watch every one to two weeks. I was wondering if this is a known issue. Perhaps someone can suggest a way to fix it?

Can’t edit total wave count in surfing activities

The wave count property was never editable in the mobile app but earlier this year they made it un-editable in the web app as well. This really sucks because their surfing activity on the watch is terrible at detecting wave rides. So I created my own surfing activity type and manually record my waves as laps then change the activity type on my phone once the activity was sync’ed and update the wave count manually on the web. That was painful enough but now I can’t even do that anymore. What adds to the frustration is that the app recognizes my wave counts “laps” on the wave screen but does not use that for the total wave count. So the summary in the mobile app now always says 0 waves. They really need to fix that properly.

I could not find an email address to send this feedback to Garmin which is why I am posting here.

Hey everyone, if you've been dealing with the absolute nightmare of your Garmin watch suddenly disconnecting from iOS, refusing to sync data, and giving you the constant "Pairing Failed" or "No Accessory Found" screen even after doing a factory reset, clearing Bluetooth cache, and deleting the app , check your other health apps.

The Hidden Conflict: I realized that thirdparty metric and recovery tracking apps (in my case, Bevel) maintain a deep, silent background lock on the watch's hardware profile through Apple Health. Even if you wipe the watch from the Garmin ecosystem and native iOS Bluetooth settings, these apps keep the Bluetooth lane occupied, preventing the watch from sending a clean pairing broadcast.

How I fixed it:

Completely uninstall third-party health apps (like Bevel) from your iPhone.
Put your Garmin back into manual pairing mode (Hold UP > Connectivity > Phone > Pair Phone).
Open Garmin Connect and search for the device. It should instantly pop up and pair perfectly on the first try.
Once the handshake is fully established and syncing, you can safely reinstall your other apps.

Hope this saves someone the hours of pure frustration I just went through!

My HRM is not showing up in the Garmin Connect app. I see my heart rate while on a ride, but that’s it. The data is not syncing with my iOS app.

Incorrect Russian translation of “People” filter in Garmin Connect for iOS

Hello Garmin Team,

I would like to report a translation issue in the Russian version of Garmin Connect for iOS.

In the activity filter menu, the English label “People” is translated as “Сотрудники” (Employees/Colleagues). This translation is not accurate in this context.

The filter is intended to allow users to filter activities by people/users, friends, or participants. However, the Russian word “Сотрудники” specifically refers to employees or coworkers and has a much narrower meaning.

A more appropriate translation would be:

Люди (People)
Пользователи (Users)
Участники (Participants)

This would better match the meaning of the original English interface and avoid confusion for Russian-speaking users.

Screenshots attached:

Could you please review this translation and consider correcting it in a future Garmin Connect iOS release?

Phone and notification issues with 28.05

Watch no longer correctly reconnecting with phone after physical separation. New notifications appear briefly on watch face, but phone/BT icon and notification indicator / count not visible unless I open Garmin Connect on phone and have same sync with watch. Then things work normally until physically separated again.

I don't know / can't tell if issue is watch FW or a Connect issue, but did not see the problem before 28.05 update.

I have read the manual and it does not show the same steps or options

Most of my KPIs have all dropped or degraded difficult. For the exact same work out (Outdoor ride, same distance, same ascent, etc., Garmin is tracking lower aerobic number, no anaerobic, 30% fewer calories burned, which has produced a lower VO2 MAX and a higher fitness age. Nothing on my side has changed. Has Garmin changed its algorithm or something else?? Is anyone else reporting the same experience? Please advise.

Import body data / better results on scale

I got following issue:
Currently, I'm using the Garmin Index 2 for body measurements. My fitness age is higher than expected due to my relatively high body fat percentage. Now I have been to a lab and my real body fat is like 8% below what the Index 2 measures. Therefore, a bunch of data calculated on this data, is basically wrong.

Now I'm curious, if there is or will be an option to import data from different scales (like Withings Body Scan).
It would be sufficient to import these data from AppleHealth as workaround when using the a.m. Withings Body Scan. OR is there a Garmin own scale with the function to measure the body scan more accurate than only through feet coming?

Connect SPM computation wrong. Looks like Meters/Feet confusion in the software

Possible unit-conversion bug: Trail Run lap average cadence appears approximately lower than distance/time/stride-derived cadence by a factor near yards/meters. With lap time 9:58, lap stride length 0.79 m, and lap distance 0.60 mi, expected cadence is about 122.6 SPM. Reported lap cadence is 113 SPM. 113 / 122.6 = 0.921, close to 0.9144. If internal distance/rounding puts the lap at about 0.6046 mi, the ratio is exactly the yard/meter factor.

Exact numbers for an example from this very morning:

Lap distance: 0.60 mi; independent Google Earth distance: 3121 ft / 951 m.
Lap time: 9:58.
Lap stride length: 0.79 m.
Reported lap average cadence: 113 SPM.
Expected cadence from distance/time/stride: 951.3 / (9.9667 × 0.79) = 120.9 SPM.
Using 0.60 mi exactly gives 122.6 SPM.
Reported/expected ratio is about 0.92–0.94, near the yards/meters factor 0.9144.
Real-time cadence and cadence graph appeared near 120 SPM, and metronome was set to 60 BPM, one beat every other step.

Enduro 2 — Bluetooth lost after Garmin Connect update, Wi-Fi sync works fine (iPhone 15 Pro)

Hi all,

My Enduro 2 has stopped connecting to my iPhone via Bluetooth. The watch still shows as "Connected" in iOS Bluetooth settings, but Garmin Connect doesn't see it. Wi-Fi sync works fine.

Setup:

Watch: Garmin Enduro 2, firmware 26.09
Phone: iPhone 15 Pro, iOS 26.5
Garmin Connect: 5.25

Already tried:

Restarted watch and iPhone
Reset watch settings
Updated firmware via Garmin Express
Reinstalled Garmin Connect
Unpaired from iOS Bluetooth and re-paired
Removed watch from Garmin account via web, re-added
Verified Bluetooth permissions for Garmin Connect in iPhone Settings

Nothing helped. The issue started after a Garmin Connect update and persists through 5.25. From what I've read, this is affecting Forerunner 965, Enduro 3, Fenix 7 and other models on iOS — so it looks like a Garmin Connect bug, not a hardware issue.

Has anyone found a working fix? Is Garmin aware and tracking this?

Hydration is being displayed in ml in one place and in Ml (mega litres) in another

On my home screen the units for hydration are ml, but when I select hydration it is displayed in mega litres (Ml). It may not seem significant to most, but in parts of the world that haven't converted to the imperial system and still use metric, it looks pretty silly.

I assure you, I have not consumed 3,450,000 tons of water today.
