Stress and sleep tiles disappeared in "my day", not showing up in the "Change my day" or "Health Statistics" menu either.

Worked the last year flawlessly, but stopped working a few days ago. The tiles "Sleep" and "Daily stress" have simply disappeared. I cannot ad them in "change my day" they are not there. I can however consult that data when i check Garmin Connect online. They are also missing in the meny "Health statistics". VO2 max has also disappeared. Very strange.

I tried hard resetting the watch, tried reinstalling the app, but didn't work. For now it's a total mistery. Any fix or similar experiences?

  • change my day

Do you mean "Edit My Day"?

... what cards are in the Hidden Cards section vs the visibles?

  • Yes "edit my day", to my suprise I only have steps, calories, weight and sleep left in de "hidden cards". But sleep does not show up even if I add it. Stress has disappeared completely. I'm completely in the dark. I even tried downgrading to another version of Garmin connect, no luck either.

  • I continue to experience this problem too, on my Pixel 3.

When I use Garmin Connect on my iPad there are no issues. All the cards appear. So it appears to be an Android-only bug.

  • Me too! On my iPhone 7 which I just got!please help!

Just had the same thing happen iPhone X. Sleep & stress appear in my day but not in edit my day - can’t move sleep/stress

  • I’ve seen many folks have issues with sleep tracking showing up in Garmin connect, even after multiple and successful syncs. One day, sleep tracking just stopped showing up in the app for iOS.

I tried everything: re-syncs. Adjusting my times on the web and in the mobile app. Wearing my watch two hours before bed. Ensuring it’s the preferred activity tracker.

Nothing worked. UNTIL I added the sleep on my watch as a widget to see if my watch was even recording sleep at all. And it was. So that let me know the data existed and that there was an issue between the devices communicating.

So whenever I had the Garmin mobile app up on my phone, I’d simply access the widgets on my watch, view sleep, and then It’d pop up automatically in the Garmin app like nothing happened. It was my way of forcing a sync beyond what the app was doing.

    The Fix:

So, just add the sleep widget to your watch and view your sleep directly on your watch and then it should sync and start showing up.

  • Saw this on another forum and it worked flawlessly for me:

“Removed the device via Connect app, then re-added the device via connect app.  Device was already bluetooth paired to phone but I had to go through the settings menus on the watch to pair it directly within the connect app.”
