My wife’s iPhone is not receiving notifications from my Earthmate messages.. never had an issue before, checked our phones service provider and no restrictions found on our account, wondering if anyone had the same issue.

Have you tried removing her as a contact and adding her again to see if she gets the messages?

Is the device you are sending the messages from getting any error notification that it's not sending?

When an inReach device becomes disconnected from Earthmate, the phone/tablet can still create data using the phone/tablet GPS. This data is contained in Unorganized (data that is not in a collection). To be able to see this data, the visibility for Unorganized needs to be enabled on the Map page of the Garmin Explore Website under Library. exporting earthmate tracks made when not using an inreach

Is it possible to export earthmate tracks made without my inreach explorer, when earthmate is using the phone's GPS? I don't always hae my inreach explorer+ when I go hiking, and would like to export the tracks made by explorer when it is using the iphone's GPS.

Earthmate should allow calling or emailing contacts from More(...) > Contacts

Unless I'm misinterpreting something - Earthmate doesn't allow us to go to More(...) > Contacts and then select a contact to call or email. This is something simple that it should allow. Frankly the UI looks like it should work, but touching the phone or email icon does nothing.

Why show us they have this info if we can't use it from there? If the cellular network is up let us call or email.

inReach MapShare Not Working

Hi, We’re on an ocean voyage traveling South along the coast of California and the Mapshare function stopped working today. The inReach shows as tracking but web tracking access is intermittent at best. Our track should be at share.garmin.com/Tillikum

Please advise what to do.

How to add phone contacts to Earthmate?

When setting up Earthmate on my 5S, it asked if I wanted it to access my phone contacts. I mistakenly hit "no". Now, rather than sending a message as easily as I would a regular text, it's a bit of a process. I would like it to be as easy as texting. How do I now allow Earthmate to access my phone contacts?

I am trying to streamline and I want to eliminate one of the two apps on my iphone. Which one goes.... Garmin Messenger or Garmin Earthmate? My main use is for text messaging my hiking mate who uses the Mini 2.

I have a track line that is showing up on the Explore App on my phone but it is not showing up on the Explore website on my computer. If I go to options on the phone App, under Map, and select toggle off from "Show Track Line", it is gone but I'd like to delete it. I do not see this track on the Explore website. Any suggestions on how to delete it from phone?

Hellio craigsam In earthmate the mapping that you see is most likely what will always be there as we are not necessarily updating the earthmate application or mapping any longer. We have moved to the explore mobile app which you would need a compatible device to use. We also have mapping on garmin.com that may be more detailed for you if you have a compatible device for it as well.

Will there ever be more detailed map options for Australian users/subscribers? I'm guessing we pay the same for our subscriptions ( allowing for dollar conversion ) as our US friends, why don't we have access to satellite imagery and high detail maps?
