I am trying to get some apps on our garmin Oregon 750T. All the things we have tried won't work. It keeps sending us from one app to another. We want to get the connetc IQ app on the Garmin and we want to get the Wikiloc app on the garmin.... Pleas help/

Connect IQ does not recognize updated IQ apps

As the title say: it is not possible to get installed IQ apps (data fields) updated.

What I found out:

It makes a difference whether or not you have an IQ app installed on your device:
-If an IQ app isn't installed and you search for it in the GC-IQ mobile app, the app (data field) appears in its updated version.
-If the app is installed on the device and you view it among the installed apps, it displays the old version. GC-IQ doesn’t recognize that a new version of the app is available. It cannot be updated.

My workaround: I uninstall GC-IQ from my iPhone and then reinstall it from the App Store. This takes just a minute, and the GC-IQ mobile app works. (But only for this one time.)

As an alternative, you can also delete the IQ app (data field) from the device and then reinstall it, though that's much more complicated.

(maybe it is only a iOS issue?)

Connect IQ will not pair with my Edge 520 even though this Edge is paired with Garmin Connect. When I try add the device to Connect IQ, it sends me back to Connect, where the Edge is already paired. But Connect IQ seems not to recognise that the Edge is paired in Connect.

I've been going round in circles with this. And yes, I've deleted both apps from my phone and re-installed them, and re-paired the Edge 520. It's made no difference.

An update to the Connect IQ app, version 2.50, may have resolved this for some users but we are continuing to investigate reports of the issue persisting for others.

Hi, the rotation is wrong on my 12.9 iPad Pro with iPadOS 27.0.1

I checked on a smaller iPad on iPadOS 26.x and it was OK so it’s either the bigger screen/resolution or the OS … I am sure somewhere in the whole of the Garmin system you have some people with these devices to replicate and I look forward to the expected behaviour returning - thank you

App Rotation Changed Badly with v2.5 on iPadOS

Using a large-format iPad in landscape mode, rotation enabled (ie default form) the ConnectIQ app now opens rotated wrong in the latest v2.50 update, making it impossible to use unless rotating the device to portrait mode. The previous behaviour of having a portrait CIQ within the vertical space of the landscape iPad was fine- don’t make me rotate the device to have to use one app! This was oriented correctly and expected behaviour prior to v2.50

Don’t ask for a video, just replicate it yourself.

Yea I can open the app now. However IQ does not even see the 520 at all despite it connecting to Garmin Connect and syncing. Big sad.

Previously it would at least be visible in IQ even though it said disconnected. Now it's just not showing up at all in IQ.

Restarted my phone and 520 a few times now

This happened to me as well at first. Uninstalling and re-installing fixed it (it still doesn't work with my 520, but at least i got it so it will open again)

I've restarted my phone and cleared the IQ app cache via the app settings in my phone. Idk lol big sad

Fyi I'm on a pixel 8 and it's working fine, so maybe something specific to you.

Well I updated to v2.50 and now the Connect IQ app won't even open at all. I'm on android, Google Pixel 8.

So now I have two devices that won't work the Connect IQ app because the app won't open.

I got the new 2.50 version, and it still does not work with my Edge 520.

Has anyone got Edge 520 working with the new version? I see a bunch of people saying their Edge 530 now works, but it seems that Edge 520 is still not.

I got 2.50 today. I'm on Android. My Edge 530 connected and the installed apps updated.

With the new update now I'm able to connect my 530 Edge the Connect IQ App, but still i've got the trouble that komoot tours which are stored offline are not shone in the navigation Port of my EDGE. Workground at this stage is to plug your 530 to the destoo and Store die GPX file on the Desktop and transfered to your EDGE. Garmin - SP Old work this out. For the last 2 month I wasn't able to use my Garmin properly :/

The fix is in version 2.50 . You just have to keep checking the playstore to see if it is available for your device.
BUT is is now in apk mirror, so you don't have to wait !

Patience is running out. Connect IQ will still not connect to Edge 530! Workaround for komoot routes at this point, connect to Desktop, save GPX file, transfer to Edge. But you are not able to change course on the run. Guys, please get an update soon!
