&lt;p&gt;Anyone over 13 on Spotify is no longer considered a child and the social media restrictions from the Australian government don&amp;rsquo;t apply to Spotify, so I don&amp;rsquo;t understand why Garmin would be stopping 13 to 16 year old teenagers from listening to music on their paid Spotify accounts.&lt;/p&gt;

After the latest update (5.22.1), the watch no longer syncs with Garmin Connect, despite appearing connected in iPhone Bluetooth.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p class="isSelectedEnd"&gt;&lt;span&gt;The same situation already occurred about one month ago after a previous Garmin Connect update, and I had to completely remove and re-pair the device to restore functionality. Now it has happened again.&lt;/span&gt;&lt;/p&gt;

A premium device like the Fenix 8 becomes practically unusable if it cannot reliably sync with the official app, and repeated disruptions caused by software updates are not acceptable. If I go inot bluetooth settings on the phone it won&amp;#39;t re-connect, I have to manually delete it in the app adn then re-connect it. &lt;p&gt;Is there a setting in my phone that I need to change? Has anyone lese experienced this and resolved it?&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Having looked at this and other user forums, I tried the following:&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Garmin software update&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Checking wrist heart rate was on auto&lt;/li&gt;

&lt;li&gt;Using other watch bands&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Using an external Polar H10 heart rate monitor, which worked twice then stopped&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Interestingly, when I go into the Run option set up, wrist heart rate is permanently off and will not go back on after button press.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Also, my Stryd footpad has stopped feeding data.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;I checked with Polar 10 HRM and Stryd pod in combination, Polar H10 only, Styd pod only and neither. None of these versions give me a heart rate signal.&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Walking and static gym work on the other hand, do give me a heart rate signal and recording.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;My first thought was this is a software issue, since it coincides with a software update that put the Garmin IQ symbol on my active run watch face. However, it is starting to look as if it may be hardware bandwidth.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;I&amp;#39;d appreciate advice on how to get my wrist heart rate signal dn Stryd pod recording again.&lt;/p&gt;
