I use crossfade all the time and now it has introduced a glitch in the audio right at the start of the crossfade. Just checked and it happens in all the transitions. Makes the final product useless. I wish I had an old version.
Thanks for that link. I am going to downgrade to a previous version. I suppose I shouldn't say downgrade, more like move to a better (for me at least) version. I did quite a bit of searching but did not come up with the link you have provided.
Stepped back to 5.4 and there is still a hitch in the audio. It is a very short blank spot instead of a scratchy noise so I went to 5.1 and I don't seem to have the audio problem there.
I have no sound at all. When i play a clip i only get digital noise. When i playback the same clip directly in windows media player or VLC the sound is normal and the issue should be related to Virb Edit.
Please fix this issue.
WHat happens to my Clips library when i choose to downgrade? Does everything needs to be imported again?
I have this exact same problem. It appears VIRB Edit is circumventing the windows audio layer and attempting to play audio directly to the audio hardware and failing spectacularly. Given this problem it's impossible to play back video within the editor itself, it completely ignores the windows mixer and volume settings so you can't even mute the problem to get video alone. Very VERY frustrating.
