Garmin Express Windows Garmin Express Will Not Connect.

Garmin Express Will Not Connect.

Hi,Garmin Express finds my Garmin Nuvi 1300LM but it will NOT connect to Garmin Services :(

I have tried reinstalling the software,the USB Drivers heck I even tried reinstalling the OS,with no luck :(

I have never had any problems with Garmin Express in the past,I just recently tried to see if i can update my maps but like I said it will not connect to Garmin Services.

The other reason I need Garmin Services to work is cause something went wonkie and I have no maps on the Device,need to find a way to reset the device and reinstall everything.

The GPS is pretty much useless right now,would like to know what the heck happened to Garmin Express and why it won't connect :( Its getting very frustrating.

PLEASE HELP :(

P.S. I thought about calling support but from what I read on these forums there no help.

I have been at this for the last few hours.

Is there a way to reinstall the maps? without Garmin Express?

Also I need to register my device again,stupid me thought it might fix something lol.

Please help I am about to pull my hair out lol.

Didn't help :( No luck :(

The core services are enabled and the firewall and antivirus have been disabled.

Do I need to reboot once I disable the firewall?

I even tried a Direct connect meaning I had my network cable directly connected to the Cable Modem with out the Router.

Already tried that,it was one of many things I tried while searching the net :( No luck :(

I also tried using my XP Machine,Garmin Express wouldn't even install lol.

I just do not get it,Garmin Express was working fine a few months ago without problems,I didn't do anything different on my machine. Except put new Memory in.

Have you updated Express? If so I'm out of ideas, the Express team should be along shortly and may have some further advice.

Yes I have,I have version 3.1.9.0,I reinstalled Express like 3 or 4 times with zero luck :(

Is there a way to manually download the maps and software for the GPS and re-register it?

Btw I keep saying Garmin Services I meant to say Garmin Servers it's the error that keeps coming up when I try to use Express,Garmin Express does detect my GPS btw.

One other thing I have tried is running as Admin I even tried using XP SP3 compatibility Mode with 0 luck.

Forgot something,I did do a factory reset but all that did was kill my maps and made the GPS useless,so this is one of the main reasons I need Express to work :(

I am lost without the GPS :( I suck at directions :(

Latest is 3.2.4 :) so try updating Express to see if that resolves it.
