new to garmin unable to unlock maps

Hi all
I recently bought a Garmin zumo 340lm and Im trying to download Mapinstall but it keeps displaying the message 'no unlocked maps were found for this device'
i ve registered my Zumo do I have to install the maps from Garmin express on my pc too ?

Any help would be much appreciated

What maps are you trying to install? The current maps on your device are City Navigator Europe NTU 2014.40. These maps are the latest version we have released for Europe. The maps should already be loaded to your device so there shouldn't be any need to use MapInstall. If you are trying to load additional mapping to your device then there may be a need to use MapInstall.

If you want the maps on your PC you can do that through Express. Open Express Click Device/Reinstall Maps/Advanced Options/Computer Only/Install Now. This will allow the mapping to be installed to the PC.
