Garmin Express does not start

Garmin express has worked perfectly for several years on my PC (on Windows 10), but now it suddenly doesn't start at all. Garmin Express shows as a pop up for a few seconds and then nothing happens. I have tried to remove and reinstall several times. Also tried to remove Garmin_Ltd._or_its_subsid and installed Microsoft.NET Framework 4.6.2, but no change. Also tried to install a previous version v6.7.10, which came up fine, but then required that the newest version was installed.... (failed again)

The minimum requirement of Microsoft .NET Framework has been changed to 4.7.2 as per our system requirements:

I have installed 4.7.2 and Garmin Express still doesn't work

You may now need to uninstall then reinstall Express

Tried the mbirth link, but no change.

Have tried to uninstall and reinstall several times - with no change.

Not sure what sort of uninstall you've done but it seems it hasn't worked. Garmin's instructions are here

and if that doesn't work try using the Microsoft Utility to completely uninstall Garmin Express. This software is third-party and not created by Garmin. The software is licensed and created by Microsoft.

When uninstalling Garmin Express select as necessary:

Garmin Express
Garmin Express Tray
Elevated Installer
Garmin Update Services (skip if not present)
ANT Drivers Installer x64

Then install Garmin Express directly from http://download.garmin.com/omt/express/B/GarminExpressInstaller.exe

That is the way I uninstalled it. Tried it again now, but no change. (also checked for those other applications)

Then try calling Product Support
