Buonasera chiedo e possibile visualizzare una sola traccia sul pc.

quando vado a collegare il gps 700 sul pc e vado a visualizzare la memoria interna del gps mi soprappone tutte le tracce registrate dal gps,

chiedo c'è un settaggio da poter visualizzare solamente la traccia selezionata. ??

Heads Up When Updating DriveSmart Maps to PC, it also updates Basecamp

I updated my DriveSmart GPS map using Garmin Express. Express gives the option to also load the map onto my PC for use by Basecamp, and I selected that as well.

It turns out that Express also updates Basecamp and as a result, Basecamp no longer contains the 100s of trail lists I have accumulated over the years. That discovery was close to a heart attack that!

I then reinstalled Basecamp 4.6.2 on the PC, and all my 100s of lists are now present, life-threatening event averted!

Basecamp shows hundreds of "unknown" waypoints

I just installed new Maps (2027.1) on my Smart 60 and everything went well but, when I opened Basecamp, I see hundreds of black dots that seriously clutter the screen on wide zoom levels. The dots show up on any zoom level below 30 miles. When I click on the dot, it just says "unknown". I used to have a problem with airports showing up on wider zooms cluttering the screen, but discovered that I can disable that from the "Map Display Features" in the Options|Activity Profile. I have unchecked all of the boxes in here to try to get rid of them, but they persist.

I thought that maybe it had something to do with the new maps having a lot of new types of points, but when I switched back to my 2026.3 maps, the dots were still displayed.

Anyone know what's going on?

Basecamp Windows: delete old map breaks everything

Running Basecamp 4.7.5 Windows (in Parallels on a Mac but that shouldn't matter.) I am trying to delete some old maps. In Windows Control Panel I go to Uninstall Programs, pick one of the old ones, and click uninstall. It does its thing. Then Basecamp is gone. The program shortcut doesn't work. When I search for Basecamp in Explorer, it shows "Basecamp 2D", and that is worthless too. I have to restore my Windows image from the last good one, and then Basecamp works again. This uninstall process used to work, since forever. But now it is broken. I can't uninstall maps, and every time a new map comes out that's another 5GB of disk space that I have to give up.

On the Basecamp map, when I click on a flag, showing a Waypoint; it doesn't show the editing window with the name and the the coordinates of the waypoint. Sometimes it shows right, but sometimes not.

Sometimes it shows right, but sometimes not.Clicking on the waypoint flag in the left column, shows the waypoint on the map. double clicking on the flag in the map, should show a panel with the editable full name, and also the coordinates. Sometimes I just can't get this panel showing.

Basecamp playback speeds in Windows

The Windows version has higher playback speeds of x100 and x1000 but nothing in between. I believe the Mac version you can set your own speed.

It would be nice if Garmin added this to the Windows version or at least added some extra speeds of x200 , x300 , x400 , x500 and x750.

Route Milage does not agree between Basecamp and my Nav6

I have made custom routes many times and while there is usually some discrepancy between the mileage I see in Basecamp and the mileage for the same route in the GPS (5-10 miles) which is understandable... on my new replacement Nav 6 I see DOUBLE the mileage although looking at the map on the Nav6 the map appears to be correct.
It seems as if the Nav is showing my route as a ROUND TRIP although the route directions do not show it is a Round Trip.

Two Copies of City Navigator North America 2026.3 appear on my Nav 6?

I recently received a replacement BMW NAV 6 from Garmin and I notice there are TWO copies of City Navigator North America 2026.3 on my device.
Should there be two copies and if not how do I remove one of them?

Cache Size: 15.8 GB in user/appdata/local/garmin/basecamp/devicecache. Can I just delete either all the files or entire folders in that cache folder?

I have an Etrex 30x. It has a mini SD card that is FAT 32 and has several .img maps on it that I downloaded. They work fine on the device, and I can see the files on my computer when I plug in my device. But the maps won't load in BaseCamp. How do I view them in BaseCamp?

For the past 6 months I have been having regular issues with the Garmin app updating chronic load and also recovery time. I sync my watch or bike computer after exercise and the activity loads up fine. However the chronic load takes quite some time to update in the 4 week chart, also the recovery time doesn't upload to my watch even after multiple sync attempts. None of these issues used to happen and they have been getting progressively worse. Parts of the devices show the updated data and other parts don't. It makes no sense when the activity is update buy the load data isn't on the app for example, its like the right hand is not talking to the left. . anyone else having these issues?

Garmin Etrex Solar will NOT cable charge

When I plug a USB C cable to my Etrex Solar it WILL NOT CHARGE...nothing happens. The same cable will charge my phone. I bought this thing in summer and could solar charge it all the time but now it's winter and I must USB charge it. I believe it used to charge via USC C but won't any longer. Transferring route to Garmin Drive 61 now lags after transfer

I have a Garmin Drive 61 that I have had for some time. I create routes on basecamp on almost a daily basis and transfer them to this device and I have never had an issue with it before, but after the recent software update after transferring the route it lags loading the route and I don't know if the issue lies in the device itself or basecamp. I have already done a full reset on the device a few times and that has not fixed the issue. I am at my wits end because if the load is interrupted at all, say the device screen turns off, the route does not load and I have to start the process all over again which is very time consuming and annoying. Someone please help with a solution.

City Navigator North America NT2026.3

Anyone try loading NT2026.3 into Windows 11?

Just got a new computer last week (went from Windows 10 to 11). Hooked up my Zumo390, and Garmin Express says there's a new map update available. After the update was complete into the GPS, I then downloaded it into the computer.

When I went to Basecamp it showed "Map Detail Locked" in the lower right hand window of the Basecamp map (under the distance scale). I'm unable to see any of the small roads, only the main roads. When i look at the Map Product Manager. it shows that it is "Locked".

Garmin has opened a case file on this. They had me completely uninstall Express and Basecamp, but still have the same results.

Took the computer to Geek Squad at Best Buy, and they can't figure it out either.

The only way I can see the map details is if I connect my buddy's Zumo 396 that still has the older NT2026.2 map loaded in it.

I use Basecamp to create remote backroad routes, then download those routes into my GPS and lead a group of my motorcycle friends on rides. Trying to create a route in the GPS takes forever.

We're questioning whether the NT2026.3 is compatible with Windows 11.

Anyone else have this trouble with the NT2026.3 and windows 11?

O meu GARMIN 955 SOLAR, comprado em fevereiro de 2024, começou de tempos pra cá fazer variações de atualizações no decorrer do dia, e agora noto que o sensor de frequência cardíaca não está ascendendo e também não mede os batimentos cardíacos.

Tem mais alguém com o mesmo problema?

Teria alguma atualização de software que faça a correção desse problema?

Meu GARMIN 955 SOLAR, comprado em fevereiro de 2024, começou recentemente a receber várias atualizações ao longo do dia, e agora percebo que o sensor de frequência cardíaca não está funcionando e não está medindo a frequência cardíaca.

Alguém mais está com o mesmo problema?

Existe alguma atualização de software que possa corrigir esse problema?

Argh! I broke my RV760LMT

I picked up a used RV760LMT about two years ago and have been somewhat happy with it. Oddly, a device costing over $500 (US) when released has been dropped like a hot potato by Garmin with fewer than 10 years of use. Granted, I've only had the device since 2023, but the original owner paid plenty back in 2013 for the unit. Lately, the device can't sit on the shelf for more than a few days without the unit's battery going dead. Reviving it takes a few hours, so I decided to purchase a battery for the unit. I've learned my lesson; Garmin devices are throw away items. The assembly of the device makes it nearly impossible to replace the battery without damaging the display flex cable (which I did). I have many years of experience repairing consumer electronics, but the RV760 is a non-repairable item if anything breaks on it.

Luckily for me, I found another RV760LMT on eBay for under $100, so I'll be back using this device again. I'm reaching out on this forum for a few reasons:

The unit still works, minus the display (I can connect it to my PC and still do Basecamp mapping.
- Is there any repair sites in the US that will repair a broken RV760?
  - My base and display are still good, just the flex cable is toast.
  - Of course, the fee can't be more than $70 or so.
    - My assumption is no one will fix the device, but just asking.
- If unrepairable, is there any value of just a working base unit with no display?
  - Thinking of eBay and would post for $25 or best offer?
    - Or is it just junk?

Back to Basecamp. Why did Garmin abandon Basecamp back in '23? It seems like a fairly decent program (with a steep learning curve). Is Garmin still trying to market RV GPS devices or have they succumbed to the phone-based apps? I've used Hammer and TruckMap in parallel with my RV760LMT, and all three more or less perform identically. The Garmin device make pre-planning routes easier but now I'm contemplating dumping the Garmin after my new-to-me RV760 fails due to a bad battery.

I know this forum is about Basecamp and while this post isn't entirely about Basecamp, some aspects touch on it. I'm looking to see constructive inputs on what's out there for decent, affordable RV GPS solutions.
